...but I just wouldn't let him. I have allergy medicine, and no cat snuggling on my clothes and on my bed is going to piss on my barbecue!

Today was another great day. I had to miss my first class of the quarter, but wait: It was because I had my interview with Comgest S.A., a portfolio management company here in downtown Paris. The interview wasn't nearly as tough as I thought it might be. In fact it was more of the guy just telling me about the company, then asking me when I could start. I told him Monday would be fine. I have only two worries: 1) the guy who interviewed me, who I think will be my main mentor, wasn't what you would call a "good annunciator." This is my first internship of this kind and it's all in French. Interesting. 2) The guy asked if I was OK with "number crunching." Again this was all in French, so the fact that the English phrase "number crunching" has been adopted into French business lingo kinda scares me a bit. I'm gonna have to refamiliarize myself with excel over the weekend.

Cool, got the internship ligned up, good weekend coming up, good people to hang with. Life is pretty good.
