Super-Duper Wacky n' Tacky Euro Adventure

is каникула (kanikula) - vacation.
As in this weekend, I will be on каникула in Antalya, Turkey. Holla! Gotta love those "hot deals!" that are advertised all around town. Turns out they're pretty good deals. Flight there and back, airport transfer, and all-inclusive hotel for 4 days, 4 nights and a little over 3 bills. Hot damn. It's gonna be hot, but that's OK since I'll be by either a pool or the ocean for the entire weekend (and then some (got some days off of work))!

This weekend was mysterious and eventful. We managed to keep one of two nights from being completely nuts and still ended up with a tired Sunday with no time to accomplish any of those weekend projects (like cleaning the apartment) that seem to keep eluding us.

Slowly I'm getting to know my co-workers better and today's biznes lanch was another great chance to get to know my colleagues except that my Russian is still so bad I can't possible follow what they're talking about. Then I slow them down by turning the conversation to English. Gotta get on that. Tonight should be my first Russian lesson with in-house teacher Olya. Hope I can dust off the notebooks and get to learnin'!
