And I really hope that my nights can begin to return to normal. For too long now the games have been starting in Moscow at 11 pm and always seem to reach extra time and penalty kicks to seemingly taunt my fatigued self. Then every singly team I root for is eliminated. I can almost legitimately root for a team in the final and then that doesn't go well and the vodka on the table was just too convenient to ease the pain. Then the physical pain came this morning as I attempted to get up for work this morning. Oy, it was a rough one. For such an important tournament, it really never seems to be at a convenient time! And like always, for most people who come from the western hemisphere, overwhelming dissapoint is the only guaranteed feeling to be extracted from the last four weeks. It was a good tournament, but a big, very sleepy part of me is glad it's finally over.
